Established in 1980, Kform. began life as a traditional small fabrication shop serving the Northern Virginia and D.C. Metro Area. Through 25+ years of operation, hard work and a continual commitment to quality grew the organization into a 24,000 square foot facility boasting a robust line of production capabilities.

• 1982 - Moved out of a leased bay space and into own facility
• 1985 - Facility expanded to bring paint and silkscreen services in-house
• 1991 - C&K Engineering, Inc. formed supporting the EMI/RF Shielding Industry
• 1994 - Facility expanded for growing departments and a CNC Laser
• 2003 - Powder coat painting added to services
• 2003 - 2D Scanning enhances QC
• 2007 - Waterjet cutting added to services
• 2009 - ISO 9000:2000 Registered

Kform is completely equipped to meet customer manufacturing needs such as prototyping, machining, fabricating, and electromechanical assembly. Journeymen and engineers provide experience in all phases of manufacturing including innovative design and production capabilities. Kform operates a vendor approved MIL-I-45208A manufacturing system assuring customers of quality production.

Kform provides manufacturing and adjacent services to the needs of special industry markets. Design driven manufacturing methodologies enable Kform to conceptualize, design, and manufacture complex projects. Using the latest technology and experienced journeymen, Kform works with the customer to leverage a complete line of design and manufacturing capabilities, delivering innovative solutions to Aerospace, Government, and High-Tech industries. Capabilities are enhanced by in-house secondary processes such as painting, silkscreen manufacturing, welding, wiring, soldering, chromate conversion coating (Iridite), documentation, laser cutting, and assembly. The Kform product line includes numerous types of custom Radio Frequency Shielded equipment racks, cabinets, and enclosures for both private industry and the U.S. Government.

In addition to design and manufacturing service, Kform has developed Kform Project Manager – a comprehensive and flexible management system.
