Shielded Enclosure Training |
|
Our goal is to provide the best EMI/RFI shielding products and services in the world. K-form invests in this goal through product development, education, customer interaction, and a high standard of quality. Several K-Form employees recently completed a course on shielded enclosure effectiveness testing. As standard operating procedure, K-form tests every shielded enclosure and cabinet manufactured for shielding effectiveness. The course, conducted by Louis Gnecco of TEMPEST, Inc., provided clear subject fundamentals from a recognized topic expert.

The variety of applications and requirements for EMI/RFI shielded cabinets makes creating a standard product essentially impossible. K-form develops custom configurations of proven designs to meet the specific needs of each customer. Almost every feature of the rack including size, cooling, power, and connectors is customizable. K-form has developed a configuration sheet to help customers capture complete product requirements. This sheet will speed estimating and design time. If you have questions, give us a call @ 703-450-4401. We will walk through the form together or schedule a meeting.

Modern manufacturing equipment is driven by Computer Numerical Control (CNC) interpreting complex code generated by Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software. The CAM software develops tool paths for cutting operations directly from the 3D model geometry. Previous to 3D CAM systems, a manufacturer could spend considerable time performing calculations to convert paper blueprints or even 2D CAD files into workable code. Working directly from the 3D model eliminates the risks introduced by human error. The use of CAM software produces code more quickly and efficiently. The performance increase represents a competitive advantage to technologically advanced manufacturers translating to faster turnaround and lower costs to customers.
