The project to translate the well-functioning Kform business system into a documented, ISO 9001:2000 conforming management system started after management sat a customer- supplier audit. Research showed the market for the manufacturing industry is moving towards conformance as a requirement. Management determined significant advantage exists through market differentiation, satisfaction of customer soft requirements, and bolstering of continual improvement efforts.

ISO 9001:2000 conformance presented a daunting task. Understanding what the standards actually require and how an organization applies the requirements is difficult for businesses. Kform created a documented management system through research, consultation, and application over a period of approximately one year.

The objective of the Kform management system is to provide leading-edge manufacturing and design services to meet or exceed expectations.
